Straight out of high school, I embarked on a five-year adventure as an aviator in the Marine Corps, flying KC-130Js and completing two combat deployments. Consistently ranking at the top of my training classes, I embraced the regimented and technical nature of military life. Yet, beneath the disciplined exterior, there was always a pull toward something more expressive and creative.

I even dabbled in digital graffiti, selling pieces crafted in Photoshop and vector illustration software. Design school allowed me to blend my analytical mind with artistic expression, reigniting a passion that had always been a part of me.

This foundation in UX and strategy naturally led me to Recovery Brands as a Senior Design Manager, where I transitioned into a product design mindset. Leading a diverse team of creatives, I learned how cross-functional collaboration can drive meaningful business outcomes. My focus expanded from crafting engaging interfaces to understanding deeper user needs, aligning design decisions with business objectives, and measuring the impact of our work. At Writer Spotlight and later at Rev, I further embraced this holistic approach, recognizing that effective design sits at the intersection of creativity, usability, and strategic thinking—creating solutions that resonate with users and drive success on multiple levels.

Science fiction and fantasy captivate me across all forms—whether it's cinema, books, or podcasts. I live and breathe these genres, finding inspiration and wonder in their limitless possibilities.
Video games offer a medium for me to unplug from my analytical mindset. They are a canvas for creativity, fun, and self-expression, allowing me to escape into imaginative realms and explore diverse worlds. Physical fitness is integral to my life—whether I’m tackling bouldering problems, hitting the trails running, or dedicating time to weightlifting.
