A Brand for Content Creation

Trial by Designer (TBD) was a brand concept I developed a few years ago as a creative platform for exploring and documenting new tools, techniques, and experiences. Initially focused on software reviews and tutorials—ranging from design and editing software to recording tools—the brand evolved into a broader concept. It became a space for experimenting with all forms of creativity, from software to musical compositions, capturing those experiences, and sharing them through video content.

The logo reflects this exploratory spirit with a bold and dynamic design. The flame icon symbolizes the passion and curiosity that drove the brand. Its fluid shape conveys adaptability and creativity, while the gradient color palette of warm oranges and reds adds depth and energy, aligning with the brand’s vibrant, hands-on nature.

The accompanying wordmark balances the flame’s energy with strong, modern typography. Its clean lines and structured format anchor the design, giving it a professional yet approachable feel. Together, the elements create a visual identity that captures the brand’s essence—creative exploration with an edge of excitement and discovery. Even though I’ve moved on from creating content under this brand, the logo remains a powerful representation of its purpose and the journey it inspired.
